River Shrimp
Note: Although this pattern was originally made for salt water, it has worked great for me imitating crayfish when I go after smallmouth bass. I also tie an olive version of this pattern.

| Hook: | Mustad 3366, size 2-6 |
| Thread: | tan 3/0 for body, white flat-waxed nylon for head, tan 3/0 for whip finish |
| Underbody: | lead wire, wrapped around back ½ of shank |
| Body: | beige or cream mohair yarn |
| Wing: | natural buck tail topped with a few strands of gold Flashabou |
| Collar: | natural deer hair |
| Head: | natural deer hair |
