| Tail (trailing shuck): | Wood duck or any other well marked game bird feather |
| Abdomen: | Goose biot to match the natural |
| Loop wing: | Two CDC feathers, natural grey dun, pulled over thorax, and pushed back slightly to form a loose cowl around upper thorax |
| Thorax: | Superfine dubbing color to match natural |
| Legs (optional): | Wood duck fibers, tied beard style |
