| Thread: | Light Cahill, 8/0 |
| Trailing shuck: | Brown antron yarn |
| Abdomen: | Butts of the antron yarn, wrapped partially up the shank |
| Thorax: | Dubbing to match the color of the dun, or tying thread |
| Wing: | Light deer hair, tied Quiggly Cripple style |
| Hackle: | Cream, three turns behind the wing and one or two in front |
