Trailing shuck: | Brown antron yarn |
Abdomen: | Butts of the antron yarn, wrapped partially up the shank |
Thorax: | Dubbing to match the color of the dun, or tying thread |
Wing: | Light deer hair, tied Quiggly Cripple style |
Hackle: | Cream, three turns behind the wing and one or two in front |
Note: You can also tie the rear half of this fly using pheasant tail fibers. Antron is more durable. |
