Snowshoe Nymph
Note: This fly is tied without weight, and shaggy to trap air. It can be fished as a dropper below a small dry because it suspends well just below the surface during the average drift, and rarely drags the dry under water.

| Wing case: | Turkey tail fibers, peacock or ostrich herl, or dark brown antron |
| Thorax: | Same as abdomen, dubbed rough |
