| Hook: | TMC 100, 12-18 |
| Thread: | Yellow, 6/0 |
| Tail: | On smaller flies, use Coq de Leon. On larger, use deer hair |
| Abdomen/shellback: | Underbody of tying thread, "hump" of deer hair |
| Wings: | Tips of deer hair hump, propped upright and divided |
| Hackle: | Furnace, two hackles used |
Note: This is a high floating western attractor. It should be heavily hackled for the front one half to one third of the fly, depending on your own sense of proportion. I switch back and forth depending on the tail and wing length selected. |
