I am a fly tyer living in s.w. Montana. I have been making,
or trying to make a living by tying flies since 1979. The man who has had
the greatest effect on my tying is without a doubt, the great tier Al
Troth. Trying to come close to his style of tying keeps me forever at the
vise.
I like to use materials that are easily obtainable in the region.That
means lots of elk, deer, moose and bear.
