| Hook: | Standard Dry Fly, #18 |
| Thread: | Yellow 8/0 or finer |
| Tail: | Four to six dun hackle fibers or microfibbets tied split |
| Body: | PMD Super Fine dubbing |
| Wing: | Mallard quills mounted on the sides of body, in an upright fashion. Wood Duck secondary quills were used in this example. |
