Hook: TMC 100, #12 –20
Thread: Flymaster, 6/0, tan
Body: Hare’s mask dubbing
Veil: Antron yarn, cream, take two strands of four strands one for the top and the other for the bottom, comb out each piece with a small comb. Tie in one on top of the shank at bend the other on bottom of shank at the bend.
Body: Touch dubbing (dubbing cut very short), cream. (After dubbing body take the strands of Antron and bring the top one over the top to behind the eye. Bring the bottom strand forward under the shank. Do not cut excess yet, with a bodkin pull the dubbing so that the Antron surrounds the body with fibers from both the top and bottom pieces of Antron. Cut the excess Antron.)
Throat: Partridge hackle, brown, tie in a few barbs under the body
Head: Dubbing fur or poly, brown
Note: Fish this fly for a couple of hours before the main Caddis hatch.
