Thread: Flymaster, 6/0, tan or brown
Body hackle: Furnace or brown cock hackle palmered over body
Body: Hare’s ear and mask dubbing fur
Wing: Elk hair, tan, tilting slightly upward
Head: Trimmed butts of elk hair wing
Note: This may be the most popular dry fly in the United States today.
