| Hook: | Mustad 34007 #1 |
| Thread: | Beige Gudebrod G |
| Eyes: | 2 black glass seed beads placed on #20 lb mono and dipped in epoxy, tie in first, one thread wrap underneath mono to lift eyes up |
| Tail/Claws: | 4-6 orange barred sili legs, 2 grizzly hackle slightly longer than eyes same length as sili legs. Splayed out |
| Body: | Spun natural deer hair, leave space for lead weight and mohair wraps |
| Weight: | x-small lead dumbells tied on top of shank at hook eye, 2-3 wraps of brown mohair (leech yarn) after deer hair ends and wrapped around eyes, tie off (Optional: mono weed guard) |
| Trimming: | Leave collar, covering hook point, trim body cone-shaped, tapering at hook eye |
