Olive Flymph

Fly: Goran Grubic, Photograph: Hans Weilenmann

Hook: wet fly, # 16-12
Thread: 6/0 olive
Tail: dark blue dun hen
Rib: fine gold wire
Body: olive dubbing (Hareline Dubin, light olive, #12), tied in a dubbing loop
Hackles: dark blue dun hen

Note: a tribute to Jim Leisenring and Pete Hidy. I learned to properly tie wet flies from their book. I carry a lot of flymphs to the river, but this one is the most often used - when olive duns appear.
