GUSTAVO ARIEL PUCCI
I was born and bred near the Delta of the Parana River (Argentina), so it’s understandable that fishing has been my passion from early childhood. In my youth, during the winter months, I devoted all my free time to tying flies, getting to know the different fishing associations and attending as many courses as I could. Finally, I focused all my attention on trout fishing and mastering the art of tying flies, both for trout and dorados (a huge fresh water fish, found in the Parana). Years later, I married Nuria – a biologist – and it was when that I started studying entomology and applying it to fly fishing.
Today, I am a professional fishing guide in Patagonia and supply my customers with my own flies. Most of them imitate indigenous species found in the region.
