My name is Håkan Karsnäser. I live in the southern part of Sweden in a small village called Mullsjš, with my wife and our 3 kids.
Fly-tying has been a passion of mine for almost 25 years now. Ever
since I started fly-fish, the way of making your own bait has always
fascinated me. I am not what you would call a very innovative tier; I
use others patterns and do changes if necessary. Hopefully to the
better. I have tried almost every type of fly-tying; trout, saltwater,
pike, I have even started to tie classic salmon flies and just love it.
At the moment that is my way of relaxation.
Since one year I work at our Scandinavian Fly-fishing Magazine called
Flugfiske I Norden. It is a privilege, as I have grown up with the
magazine for all my years as a fly fisherman and always read about all
those celebrities of Scandinavian Fly-fishing. Now I work together
with some of them. A dream comes true.
