| Hook: | anythink strong, sharp and 6/0 |
| Thread: | flat waxed nylon |
| Weed guard: | 100/00 mono |
| Tail: | assorted saddle hackles |
| Body: | rabbit zonker strip, hackled (preferably cross cut, although not strictly necessary) |
| Collar: | deer hair |
| Head: | deer hair |
| Legs: | round rubber |
|
Note: Just a basic diver with rubber legs. The legs are attached to the finished fly by threading the rubber legs through the deer hair head from side to side with a sharp needle. To embellish a diver, you can use different colours of deer hair to build up the head, either in a random fashion or in specific patterns. For the basic Diver pattern, click here. |
