Note: Last june I tried that fly on a river called Fischa not far south of Vienna,which is famous for a heavy ephemerella hatch. The trout liked it. For selective fish you can leave the wings and tie the CDC instead formed in a bubble and the hacke trimmed flush underneath so the fly lies flat in the surface.
