Hook: Any straight dry fly # 10-12
Thread: UNI 6/0 black
Underbody: Black Rabbit Dubbing
Shellback: Black thin foam ribbed with dark mono
Legs: Black Emu
Downwing: Natural CDC
Signal wing: white polypropylene
Thorax: Black fur dubbing,dark dun hackle clipped downside and the foam folded backward
Note: The tying process is a bit tricky for this fly but it is a very effective fly in all areas where the natural fly is hatching from April to May. Fish it with either very slight movement and dead drift.The signal wing improves the visibility under awkward light conditions.
