| Abdomen: | Peacock herl, single strand |
| Thorax: | Tying thread |
Note: The peacock herl is tied in close to the eye, and the same for the tailing material. Tying thread is run to the bend, peacock follows in touching turns. Thread traps the peacock and spirals back to eye as the ribbing.
