"Diet" Hare's Ear Nymph

Fly: Jason Freund, Photograph: Hans Weilenmann

Hook: TMC 200R (or nymph hook)
Weight: Optional
Thread: Gray
Tail: Pheasant tail fibers
Rib: Copper wire
Body: Fur from hare's mask (use a nifty LAW ceramic dubbing rake)
Wingcase: Peacock herl
Thorax: Coarse hair from hare's mask, taken from the ears, loop dubbed

Notes: Just another of the thousands of variations of the good 'ole GRHE nymph. Tied in this matter makes a more elegant looking fly, IMHO.
