Mercury BWO

Hook: Tiemco 200R (size #20)
Bead: Killer Caddis Diamond (Glass bead with silver lining inside)
Thread: 8/0 Uni-thread (Brown)
Tail: Pheasant tail fibers
Abdomen: super fine olive dubbing
Wing case: Dun or Black Polypropylene yarn
Thorax: Super fine olive dubbing

Tying instructions
  1. Place bead on hook.

  2. Start thread and tie in tailing fibers.

  3. Wrap thread about ½ of the way up towards the eye. Tie in Ploy yarn for wing case.

  4. Dub a nice thorax with super fine olive dubbing.

  5. Pull the poly yarn over the thorax and give a few wraps to hold in place.

  6. Adjust and separate yarn to give the appearance of legs. Trim poly yarn.

  7. Whip finish behind the bead head and head cement.
