I am a fly fisherman born in Québec, Canada. I started fly fishing at the early age of 10 in and
around the streams and lakes of the Témiscouata region. Now living in New Brunswick for the better
part of 20 years, I have a passion for salmon fly tying. I fish on the Miramichi river system and
also guide in New Brunswick. During the winter months, I like to build my own fly fishing equipment
like leaders, landing nets and rods. Finally, my most passionate sport is tying classic/traditional
salmon Flies.
Tying traditional salmon flies is an art which need practice and especially lot of patience.
Personally, I learned enormously on fly fishing since I tie my own flies. A large thanks to my
friends and mentor Bryant Freeman, Jerome Molloy and Marc LeBlanc who didn't hesitate to share their
knowledge and expertise.
Authors that have influenced me in Fly tying are Kelson, Francis Francis, Traherne, Bergman, Jorgensen,
Radencich, Carrie Stevens, Juracek and T.E. Pryce Tannatt.I invite you to browse my personnal Web site
