Kenneth Miller

Kenneth Miller makes his home in Southern, California, USA. He prides himself in producing well proportioned and consistent flies; even if he only ties a few per a relaxed session. He is most notable for compliments paid by fly tying mentors regarding his delicate epoxy applications and other synthetic material pattern coatings.

Ken has performed many fly tying exhibitions; including five consecutive years at The Fred Hall Outdoor Show of Long Beach, CA. He now is a show tier for The Fly Fishing Show annual event in Ontario, CA, USA.

His dedicated endeavors culminated with recent writing contributions for Western Outdoors magazine as well as having a pattern accepted for production consideration by Umpqua Feather Merchants Co.

The flies submitted to the “Flytier’s page” represent a sampling of patterns used to fly fish for Trout and Steelhead species on Eastern Sierra mountain range water’s as well as famed Northern California freshwater fisheries. In addition, Ken has provided multiple saltwater patterns within which he utilizes in the Pacific Ocean surf, and patterns of interest to employ on worldly saltwater Bonefish flats.
