I have been tying flies since my childhood. I am fascinated with
constructing flies that fish take convincingly as the real thing. I
believe most fly patterns can be positioned on a continuum from attractor
on one end to imitator on the other. I tie and fish flies across the
continuum. Over the past 4 years I have moved from tying and fishing super
realistic patterns to the challenge of developing highly realistic fishing
flies that can be tied in less than 10 minutes.
Recently I relocated from South Africa to South England, now I have a huge
new range of bugs to imitate.
