Note: A pattern originated by Craig Matthews of Blue Ribbon Flies in West Yellowstone. A great, generic imitation of a hatching sedge. A fly I use mostly in the evening when the sedge hatch and mostly from July to September as the sedge above. It’s also good in the smaller sizes as a searching pattern or if I’m not certain what the fish is eating.
