| Rib: | Contrasting thread. |
| Abdomen: | Thread. |
| Wing buds: | Bright orange T-shirt paint. |
| Thorax: | Build up of tying thread. |
| Gill tufts: | Poly yarn. |
| Flash: | Two short lengths of flashabou over thorax. |
| Finish: | Paint the whole thing with head varnish. |
