Hook: heavy wet fly sproat size 8
Thread: yellow 6/0
Tail: short yellow zonker strip
Body: Tufts of stacked rabbit, yellow on top, white under
Flash: A few strands of pearl flashabou tied in the lateral line position
Head: Yellow rabbit spun in dubbing loop and wrapped as a hair hackle
Tying instructions:

Head formation: Smooth rabbit to the rear of the hook and place eyes in opsition. Add a drop of super-glue to the top of the head, between the eyes and hold till dry (a matter of seconds) Trim the underside to expose the white fur.

Note on color: In the yellow/white color shown this is a typical FF show fly, but substitute natural gray rabbit for the yellow and you have a very effective pattern for a wide variety of species, both in fresh and salt water.
