Grey Duster

Hook: fine wire, dry fly
Thread: Dark grey
Tail: badger hackle fibers (optional)
Body: dubbed fur, mole, muskrat, or hare
Hackle: Badger, wound two turns back and forward through thorax section; clipped underside when appropriate

Note: One of the best all-rounders ever, and particularly deadly in a hatch of lake olives.
