Tail: Medium Blue Dun dryfly hackle barbs, 2 each side
Thorax: A pheasant tail fiber twisted into the tying thread
Wing: Medium-Blue Dun. Trimmed flush across the bottom

The South Holston River in Tennessee has a good hatch period of small olive mayflies that lasts from fall through winter. This fly works as well as any other for this hatch.
