Note: This fly was created out of a need to fish the Hex on a 2 fly rig. The buoyancy of the fly is fantastic. Silver, Black, and the standard White/Red combo work best for me. Fantastic on post-spawn fish, the Pinot Popper’s head can be cut to spit, gurgle, and pop. A Dremel tool makes the removal of material a breeze. The dubbed hook is epoxied into the cork making an extremely durable fly that even stands up to stripers. My wife says that I only drink wine to supply my tying. Pinot’s from Loius Jadot have the best cork!
