I grew up fishing the lakes and reservoirs of southern California for
largemouth bass and panfish. Some 43 years later due to an accident that
forced my retirement, I’m now living in the prime trout country of
northern Idaho. This is where I discovered fly tying. It started as a
way to pass the long winter months and has developed into a true
passion. My interest lies mainly in trout flies and my next venture is
to try my hand at classic wet flies.
