Born 1963 and raised in Koblenz, Germany, a mid sized town (120.000 inhabitants) at the confluence of the Rhine and Mosel river. In late 2001 I began fishing and shortly after also Flyfishing and flytying. I had the great fortune to get a real fast start by learning from so great people like Paul Arden, Carl Hutchinson, Mike Connor, Christian Mohr and many others.
Flyfishing means a lot to me. It is a great way of understanding many things in nature and life in general. I love to travel to remote destinations like Lapland, California and many other places I was fortunate to fish. What astonishes every day is how sharing and friendly the majority of flyfishers actually are. The friends I made through fishing mean a lot to me.
Besides Flyfishing Thomas Züllich plays and teaches percussion
instruments and writes for trade magazine. He also has a high
reputation as sound designer and engineer.
