Aura Larva
Tying instructions:
- Wrap the lead and make a dubbing loop of the tying thread. Dubb an
olive body 4/5 up the shank.
- The Aura-technique: Stroke the dubbing
loop with a tacky wax. Make a ball of cutted and chopped antron fibers
(4-5 mm. in length) and touch the threads with the ball. Twist the loop a
couple of times and wrap it as a rib.
- Finish the rest of the fly with a
dark brown thorax and a few soft fibers for the legs.
