Panfish Bugger |
|
|
|
Hook: | size 10-nymph hook |
Thread: | 8/0 grey uni-thread |
Weight: | Small brass bead |
Tail: | Two rubber legs, splayed out on either side of the hook |
Rib: | Small red ultra wire |
Body: | Natural peacock |
Note: This pattern was invented a when I made an effort to combine my two favorite panfish flies: the girdle bug and the woolly bugger. The action of the rubber legs, combined with the peacock body and grizzly hackle, makes for a great pattern that will last fish after fish.
