Byron's Soft Hackle |
Hook: | #14 Std. Dry Fly |
Thread: | Brown |
Abdomen: | Dazzelaire antron ribbed with fine gold mylar |
Thorax: | Dazzelaire antron tied in softly to allow air pockets |
Hackle: | 1 1/2 turns partridge |

Note: I have caught more fish on this fly than any other. Primarily used as a wet on the swing, but when trout are rising, you can false cast it dry and then fish it as a dry. |
