Notes:

These saltwater deer hair designs are deadly - particularly on big fish. Stripers and blues can be very selective to blue and white in September and early October throughout the Northeast. I once had a day when I took eleven bass on eleven casts with this fly. I switched to a Silversides Muddler and caught a fish every 6 or 8 throws. I went back to the mullet imitation and starting catching on every cast again! I've only had days like this in waters choked with mullet and peanut bunker. Saltwater selectively usually doesn't mean the wrong fly won't catch anything, but the right fly catches much better.

Tying hint: To make the eyes last, trim an eye socket and fill the socket with GOOP. Then stick on the eyes.
