Currently living in Denver, CO USA,
Relocated from Appleton, WI were I was first introduced to flyfishing by
my father as a child. Flyfished on and off throught out my child hood and
teenage years. Kind of forgot about the sport until I moved out to
Colorado (to be a ski bum), which I attempted until I learned how to
snowboard. Once I was in Colorado, I had my father send out my rod and
reel, vest and flies. Slow and surely got back into the sport. Gave up
the dream of being a ski/snowboard bum since I got invoved in the ski
industry (which has few perks, like traveling to a few trade shows and
being able to fish a few other world class rivers around the country), and
started devoting all my free time to fishing all over the state of
Colorado. Picked up flytying along the way and that has become more of an
addiction than I ever thought it could.
Now I spend my free time raising my 16 month old boy awaiting the day I
can teach him the art of flyfishing like my father taught me, also spend
as much time on the river stalking small and large trout. If im not
fishing, im tying flies or spending time with my family. You may have
seen me on the South Platte wading in the river with my son Quinn on my
back.
I have taught one fly tying class and a few different patterns to a few
folks and look forward to when I can teach another class.
