| Thread: | Orange Danville Flymaster Plus |
| Tail: | Brown bucktail wrapped around 8 - 12 strands copper Krystal Flash |
| Wing: | 4 orange hackles plus 1 grizzly hackle each side, splayed outward (note grizzly hackle is tied slightly shorter than the orange) |
| Collar: | Natural deer hair, spun and clipped tight; leave deer hair tips as collar around hackle; palmer one orange and one grizzle hackle together through the deer hair head |
