I was born in 1979 and live in Bristol, England. I've been fishing since the age of eleven and worked my way through coarse fishing, beach casting and competition fishing before finding the fly.
I am a secondary school science / chemistry teacher.
Most of my fishing is on small streams and this is reflected in my tying. Whilst I target trout and grayling for the main part, I also spend some of the year fly-fishing for sea-trout, pike, bass and mackerel.
