6 gold krystal flash cut slightly longer than calf, 2 left 1/4 inch longer
for feeler length 4 natural or ginger color grizzly hackle tied splayed
out 2 on each side |

Grizzly saddle hackle tied laid back |
Eyes: |
Mono dumbbell eyes or micro lead shot (see notes) |

Tying instructions:
- Tie in large black mono dumbell eyes perpendicular to hook shank, half way
down open shank
- Build small thread based from hackle tie in to hook eye
- Mix gold pulver (fine dust artist frame paint, sold in American craft
stores, could substitute fine glitter)in epoxy
- Apply epoxy around dumbell eyes and thread base, tilt fly back and
forth forming diamond shape head
Alternate body base:
- Cut diamond shape out of hard plastic (such as
from a name badge) Pinch extra small micro lead shot onto each side of diamond instead of using black mono dumbell eyes. Tie in plastic diamond at front and back. Apply epoxy/pulver mixture over plastic body and turn on wheel
Note: This is a good Redfish fly, tied smaller could be used for bonefish. Imitates crab or shrimp ie: critter.
