Thread: | Gudebrod G, #21, Chartreuse |
Tail: | White tuft marabou, 6 strands pearl gudebrod flashabou down each side |
Body wrap: | Green Gudebrod HT braid, wrapped to ¼ inch from hook eye |
Wing: | 6 white saddle hackle, 2 chartreuse grizzly saddle, tied in front of body braid, 4 saddle cupped in on each side |
Throat: | Red marabou tuft, equal to or slightly longer than hook point |
Eyes: | Built up thread base, small silver mylar eyes, cover with epoxy, spin on wheel |
Notes: I developed the “Match the Batch” Bait fish series to represent the bait fish found in the Atlantic and Gulf Coast waters of North America. However I plan to test the patterns on freshwater predator species as well. I will be continuing to add to the series in the future. |
