Notes: Mayfly indigenous to Patagonia. This mayfly is similar to the Exagenia limbata but smaller. It is frequently found in Patagonian rivers and it is big and very colorful. The rises are quite spectaculars. In warm days of Spring, hatch takes place in the sunset and lasts only a few minutes. In the firsts days of Fall (at the end of the fishing season), hatch takes place at mid day and it is also very short. |
