Abdomen: | CDC Feather natural darkgrey tied in the way like the CDC & Elk |
Wing: | 2 CDC feathers of small size parallel to the shank |
Thorax: | A pinch of Snowshoe Rabbit feet underfur and in front of it CDC Dubbing grey, plus a few hairs from chamois black in a split thread dubbing 'loop' |
Note: The pinch of Snowshoe underfur helps to see the fly and gives additional buoyancy. Needle flies are very common and they are around from February until December. |
