Body: | PolaFibre stacked, tied in behind the eye. Olive over Chartreuse over White |
Flash: | Pearl Comes Alive or SparkleFlash |
Eyes: | 3-D Epoxy |
Black spot: | Black Permanent Marker |
Head: | Area from eye to just past hook bend is coated with Flex-Loc(you can also use epoxy) |
Note: This is a general pattern for wide body minnows. This color combination was based on a lure color called Tennessee Shad. When I tie it these days, I cut down on the Chartreuse and mix in some light blue and lavender, and make the Olive a little thinner. I also used a Circle hook for this pattern, but it can be tied on any short or regular shanked wide gape fresh or salt water hook. |
