Thread: 8/0 Uni-thread (Black)
Tail: Brown hackle fibers
Abdomen: Tying thread
Wing: Pearl Krystal Flash
Thorax: Super fine mahogany dubbing

Note: Also tie this pattern using gray thread and medium dun hackle fibers for tailing. Tying instructions
  1. Start thread in middle of hook and wrap back towards the bend.

  2. Tie in tailing fibers.

  3. Wrap thread about 1/2 of the way up towards the eye.

  4. Tie in Pearl Krystal Flash for wing. 2 pieces doubled over to make 4.

  5. Place a very small amount of Super fine mahogany dubbing on the thread and wrap for the thorax.

  6. Whip finish and trim KF wing.
