Note: Andy also tie this pattern with Gudebrod “A” tan color thread and brown 8/0 tying thread for the head. Tying instructions
- Start thread just behind the hook eye.
- Tie in the C&C summer brown thread at the eye. Cover wrap this thread with the black 8/0 tying thread. Wrap down to the barb.
- Wrap black tying thread back up to the hook eye and let it hang.
- Take the C&C summer brown thread and spin the bobbin. This will tighten the thread and allow you to make smaller and tighter segmented wraps. Wrap up to the hook eye. Be careful not to over lap your wraps.
- Tie off the C&C thread and create a head with the black tying thread.
- Whip finish and coat with head cement.
