Tying instructions:
- Wrap shank from eye to start of bend with thread.
- Tie in tail material
- Tie in Rib Material.
- Tie in Mylar.
- Wrap shank with overlapping turns of Maylar and tie off just short of the eye.
- Tie in Muskrat Strip where Mylar ended near eye.
- Pull the Muskrat Strip back beyond the bend and Using A Dubbing Needle separate the fur at the point where the first wrap of silver wire will be made to secure the wing to the body.
- Take a second wrap of wire through the fur in the same manner, and repeat in a spaced spiral motion, until the tie off point is reached and the wing is securely fixed.
- Tie the wire off and build a neat head and Half Hitch. Using a needle clear any trapped fur from under the Rib on the far side of the fly.
- Whip finish and apply Head Cement.
