Note: The live one of this pupa I found in the north of Norway a couple of years ago. It was quite big (about 20 mm) and pink/orange with brownish spots. When it hatched the wings were orange/cinnamon. I tried to tie it and found that I got a rather good caddis/sedge imitation so I have tied it in a variety of colours to imitate other caddis flies too. It is weighted with lead and I got a flat body using nylon on each side of the hook. I brush the thorax a little to make it a bit rough.
