Snowshoe Caddis
Note: The tuft extending over the eye is tied down in three stages: one thread warp over the entire tuft, then I lift 1/3 of the hair and make one wrap over the remaining 2/3. Next lift another 1/3 and make one wrap over the remaining 1/3. Finally the thread is wrapped and whip finished in front of the tuft and the hair is clipped off.
