Note: This fly is the one that started the Catskill dry fly traditions. Originated byTheodore Gordonaround 1880 to imitate the "Epeorus plueralis". The Quill Gordon looked from the beggining a little different, this oneis tied the Rueben Cross would have tied it around 1920.
