Trico female spinner
Note:On the midges, when tying in the spinner style wing, well waxed thread adds more control. Take one - two wraps with the waxed thread before tying the wing in.

| Hook: | Mustad #94824 or TMC 101 sizes #22 to #26 |
| Thread: | Spider thread on body, gordon griffith 14/0 for the rest |
| Tail: | Spade hackles 3 to 4 times body length, medium dun to dark dun, split 90 degrees |
| Body: | Spider thread, wrap up and back twice then apply head cement |
| Wing: | White or light gray antron, opptional, add one strand of Krystal Flash to make it easier to see the fly on the water at greater distance |
| Thorax: | Spirit River”fine & dry” black, build to a robust thorax |
