My name is Scotty Howell. I currently reside in Bothell WA with my wife of 20 years, Patty, and my dog, Holi. Like most of the people on this website, I'm a fishing fanatic and have a great love and respect for the outdoors - especially the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
I have a passion for tying flies and learning about their rich history and origins. In fact, I've become so smitten by this fascinating hobby, that I'm spending more time in front of my vise than at the rivers I fish.
I truly believe that the best benefit of angling and flytying is meeting all the truly wonderful people who have freely shared their wisdom and experiences with me.
